Before Your Tan |

Shower and thoroughly exfoliate your face and body paying close attention to dry areas (ankles, feet, elbows, knees, hands and underarms)
Do all hair removal procedures at least two hours beforehand
Remove all traces of make up, deodorant and perfume
Wear dark underwear, bikini or g-string or jocks for men (can be naked if you would like an all over tan)
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing to change into (tanning solutions wash out of clothes with warm water). |

Don’t exercise or do anything to make you perspire for eight hours
Don’t shower for eight hours to allow the DHA to react
Don’t apply cosmetics until after your first shower. |

Avoid activities which naturally exfoliate the skin like shaving, waxing, swimming and baths
Moisturize twice daily - for best results use a tan extending product (containing a small amount of DHA) in the morning and a thick body moisturizer in the evening
Steer clear of hot showers, pools, spas etc. |
